HUMAN WORKFLOWS LLC, SCIPHD and FLAMINGO
OPERATING TERMS AND CONDITIONS – PART 1
PRIVACY AND INFORMATION SHARING
SCIPHD IS A SERVICE OF HUMAN WORKFLOWS LLC. We use SciPhD and Human Workflows interchangeably. Human Workflows LLC is the legal entity and resides in the State of Maryland, USA. Human Workflows LLC is the sole entity which governs SciPhD.
Flamingo is a Trademark of Human Workflows and is a unique service provided to our clients. Flamingo allows us to extend our on-site SciPhD workshop materials to individual PhD’s, smaller academic and research centers as well as reinforce training provided in our SciPhD workshops.
Flamingo is a service contract to provide an individual with a license to our SciPhD training and support materials. The License is restricted to the individual who first activates a unique “Coupon Code” provided by SciPhD directly or through our SciPhD partner organizations. The License expires after more than two years of no activity by the original license owner. The License is not transferrable.
ONCE YOU HAVE ACTIVIATED YOUR “COUPON CODE” AND ENTERED DATA INTO FLAMINGO, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS OUTLINED IN THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DISAGREE WITH OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE OF FLAMINGO IMMEDIATELY AND NOTIFY OUR SCIPHD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT firstname.lastname@example.org.
THIRD PARTY RELEASE OF CLIENT INFORMATION:
Any information available on your resume, CV or other information unless marked “restricted or confidential” could be in our Flamingo database. In addition, your Flamingo skill competency scores and experience statements and other descriptive data could be made available in a collective format for research, SciPhD progressive tracking or skill profile inventories to our SciPhD Partners.
WE DO NOT RELEASE TO OTHER PARTIES EXCEPT BY LEGAL REQUIREMENTS THE PRIVATE IDENTITY DATA TO INCLUDE NAME, ETHNICITY, GENDER, AGE OR NATIONALITY WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION OF THE INDIVIDUAL.
We never maintain any financial information or credit card data. All payments are made through 3rdParty vendors with a history of “state of the art” secure financial transactions and secure data storage operations. We do not maintain these records except to show a payment was made.
We do not release, confirm, deny or acknowledge any inquiry as to the identity of our clients to third party inquiries without permission of the affected individuals.
FLAMINGO AND SCIPHD DATA ANALYTICS BENEFIT SERVICES:
Flamingo and SciPhD on occasion receive inquires seeking if we have knowledge of individuals with a unique set of technical, business and social skills. This is usually the result of a difficult or “need to keep private” search to identify candidates. A benefit provided at no additional cost to our licensed individuals is private notification of an “interested party” in seeking to open a discussion with the affected licensee. This is the licensee’s decision to decline or pursue. We then notify the inquirer of the Licensee preference in declining or accepting further discussion. Personal information and contact information is not released without Licensee permission.
Flamingo and SciPhD may also engage various entities to determine the competitive job market for selected skills and experience profiles. An additional benefit of our service for our Licensees is notification as a “preferred candidate” with an engaged organization which seeks a skill and experience competency set that matches well with the licensee. The individual licensee then has the option to decline or pursue. This benefit is available at no additional cost to the licensee.
We reserve the right to refuse consultation to any party at our sole discretion and without reason.
VALIDITY OF RESUME, CONVERSATION, OR FLAMINGO COMPETENCY DATA:
We are not responsible for any representations made by a Licensee as to skills or level of competency they claim. Job candidates are solely responsible for representations made to any organization for employment. We do not make any representations on behalf of individual candidates to organizations. That is all done through documents that are prepared and endorsed by the licensed applicant. We are providing proven guidance for the applicant to author their own materials.
We do provide a refund to the Coupon acquirer (entity that actually paid for the Coupon) if upon “Coupon Code” activation of a Licensed user of Flamingo, you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions which apply to this service.
We follow the credit card laws for charge backs and/or contested services. If parties fail to agree to a mutual resolution, a third party arbitrator may be utilized.
Human Workflows LLC maintains a copyright and Trademark on all its website and workshop materials. Various aspects of our products and services are available to be licensed to meet client needs. Please make your inquiry from the Contact page. No 3rdparty licensing is implied with the use of our services or materials. The resale of a License or providing resume and job services for other parties through Flamingo is not included in this License. Flamingo copyrighted works will be vigorously enforced, to include any derivative products or services of our Flamingo trademarked and copyrighted materials.
