SciPhD Live Webinar Series

“The Business of Science- How To Land Your First Job”

SciPhD hope you are all staying safe during this unprecedented pandemic. We recognize the impact this has had on classroom learning, and in that spirit we have transformed our acclaimed half-day onsite SciPhD workshop to a live webinar-based interactive training program.

Our “Business of Science- How To Land Your First Job” is offered as a series of three 90 minute live webinars that cover: finding jobs, analyzing job ads to determine your skill match and qualifications, developing experience statements and accomplishments that demonstrate those qualifications, generating a draft formatted targeted resume, and preparing you for the interview process.

In addition, each participant receives a 50-100% discount on their own individual license ($99 value) to our online web application Flamingo® (details below).  This service is your virtual career coach partner to the webinars for after-class reinforcement as well as the guided steps and personal database of Flamingo-generated job hunt materials.

We are thankful for the opportunity to have worked with over 120 institutions over the past 8-10 years on preparing thousands of academic scientists to successfully transition to professional careers and look forward to offering these new programs to continue that mission.
